Who’s it for?

Business and commercial people who buy and manage goods and services as part of their role. This includes small businesses or business functions within larger organisations as well as procurement and supplier/contract management functions.

What results might I expect?

Applying the rigour of proven procurement and supplier management practices typically results in double digit cost savings (often much more depending on how good your deal was in the first place) and reduced risk from a clear contract. Get-it contains many of these proven practices.

Are the messages easy to understand?

Yes they are. Get-it has been written and designed by practitioners to be very simple, engaging and practical – ‘this is what you do and this is how you do it.’ The guidance isn’t like other high level or theoretical training where you’re left thinking ‘well that was interesting but what do I do now.’ This training will help people get to a reasonable and basic level of skill and competence but also be a very good reminder for more experienced professionals

Do I have to go through the whole course?

No you don’t. Get-it is unique because it guides you down 3 different paths (numbers of sections) depending on whether you want to quickly purchase basic goods/services or buy and manage a more complex and critical service (determined in the 1st stage ‘Assess’). However, you can also go into any section (there are approximately 100 bite sized sections) at any time by using the simple drop down menu on the left hand side so it’s both a joined-up solution and library for easy reference.

What functionality does Get-it offer?

The navigation slide in the Introduction section will show you how to move around the product. Many of the slides have video and audio to complement the written content. Many sections have downloadable templates (or you can also access and locally save them from the ‘Resources’ tab). You can see how far you’ve got using the ‘Progress’ tab, search key words and there’s a glossary of terms.

What equipment do I need to run it?

The product is written in Articulate Storyline and the manufacturer’s specification is:

Please note that on some tablets some of the functionality may be very slightly impacted because different devices operate differently.

What if I don’t have sound or my organisation’s security policies limit access?

The audio and video complements the written content and you won’t lose key messages without it. Some systems won’t let you download a template from the icon in the top right of the section you’re viewing but usually this works fine via the Resources tab.

Can I try before I buy?

Partially yes you can. In addition to the short video clip you can register and gain immediate, free-of-charge access to a heavily cut down demo version of Get-it. We’ve randomly enabled certain parts of certain sections (including the synopsis and navigation in the Introduction) to give you an interactive look and feel for the product but you won’t be able to use the full functionality (e.g. opening templates, using the menu to access chosen sections and most video and content has been disabled and/or ‘greyed’ out.) To move through the enabled sections of the demo you must use the Previous/Next buttons on the bottom right of the screen.

The demo version is hosted on the same server that the full purchased product resides on so this is the level of quality and performance you should expect with your equipment and connection etc.

Is there a returns policy?

No there isn’t. The product is as described in the video, demo, description and these FAQs and you can buy a low cost one month license safely through PayPal. Can I have it customised?

Yes you can. Get-it has been designed for quick and low cost customisation to suit specific organisational requirements including in-house hosting, branding, templates, links and any other changes/modifications. Email us and we’ll respond to you.

How do I access it?

We host it for you so once you purchase a license you’ll be emailed with the relevant information to gain almost immediate access.

Can I buy more than 1 licence through the website?

Yes you can. You should select the single purchase option which is for a named user (concurrent usage is not possible) and you will have make the single purchase for however many ‘named’ licenses you want. If you want to purchase a large number of licences select the multiple purchase option and you will be contacted by our sales team who will try to accommodate your specific needs.

Are there any restrictions?

You must read and accept the terms and conditions which set out more fully any restrictions. Our aim is to provide you with full access to the product as frequently as you require within the license term you’ve purchased and you’re also entitled to save any of the downloadable templates and documents found in the ‘Resources’ tab on your own computer system. However, any other unauthorised copying or sharing of any aspect of Get-it is a breach of the agreement you have made with us.
